Luis Colon chooses K-State
The Kansas State Wildcats basketball roster continued the evolution that began when Bob Huggins was hired in late March. The addition of Jason Bennett to the roster was the first change in the middle of the lineup. Blake Young, the junior college All-American guard, came next and now Luis Colon one of the top players in Florida has decided he wants to play in Manhattan.

"Luis has chosen Kansas State," Colon's AAU coach Art Alvarez said. "He thought a long time about all of the schools he visited. It was a tough decision and it came down to Luis visiting Kansas State last. The fact that the president of the school had lunch with him really impressed Luis."

That has to be a nice change for Coach Huggins. I can't see Nancy Zimpher deigning to have lunch with a mere athlete.

Zimpher would not dare show her face in public let alone have dinner with a recruit.

Beats me.

I wonder if a potential student athlete is required to be a fan of Shakespeare...

Well I hope not. Most like the Criminal Sciences. Not many recruits are English majors.
