Great year for RU sports. But I would think that Louisville would have been higher since they were alot better in mens BBall and won BE championships in several other minor sports. However RU did go to Womens National Championship and won the Baseball championship......ahh who knows?

This is easily the best year in the history of Rutgers Athletics. Suddenly Big Bob is looking like a great AD. We finally have a year to top 1976.

Nice to see 3 BE teams on there. As for UofL's ranking, SI was hit and miss on which olympic sports they chose, and didn't choose 3 spring sports where UofL has a top 10-20 team this year (both golf, men's track). In conference play UofL & ND dominated, but UofL, RU, & WVU are all real close in the Sears Cup that was last released. I expect UofL to be 2nd there behind the Irish, but RU looks great with making it to a title game this year.
