Funny story, I heard on the radio that Hopper, since he was the first one out there found the ball between Freel and the wall and put the ball in Freel's glove so it was an out rather than an in the park home run.

And this was the result.

Hard to tell on streaming video. Doesn't look like the ball even came out though.

If you watch the video on ESPN, it's pretty obvious that he put the ball back in his glove. Quick thinking by Hopper...

Hopper putting the ball back in Freel's mitt...


When Hopper comes over, watch his hand, he'll move it towards Freels glove, then all of the sudden there's a ball in Freel's mitt.
