Why? I don't get it.

She has done a terrific job of balancing her career and raising two very adorable little girls.

The "my husbands not all that special" stuff is just their campaign shtick. Its the Everybody Loves Raymond routine. Its an appeal to women voters, and its also a way of making him look self-deprecating so that he is not on a pedestal.

They both seem great to me -- having been to an Obama fundraiser, the guy is very genuine.

Mark my words...If she keeps it up, Obama will not the the DNC nod. Although I don't want Hillary to get in their either.

He may not get the nomination, but it won't be because of her.

She appeals to the Democratic voter on a lot of levels. You'll have to take it from me on this one, I guess. She is an asset in the primaries, not a liability.

I'm skeptical that a wife who is interviewed by the media will cause that much turmoil in the Democratic party. This is the party that nominated the Clintons.

Did Hillary say she had a loud mouth? I know she liked to talk about the right wing conspiracy and how it was trying to destroy her husband.

I think you are over-interpreting a self-deprecating line.

Both the Obamas and the Edwards appear to be textbook perfect families with strong working mothers. I think thats something to be proud of -- it reflects how most middle class Americans live their lives -- even though the Obamas are upper-middle class and the Edwards are quite rich.

My thoughts exactly. She meant it as a joke on how she has flaws and in their marriage, Barack has handled her just fine. You know, one of those jokes about how bad marriage is that everybody tells (which by the way, I don't find all that funny. My marriage is just fine, but I digress). She certainly didn't mean it as I'm going to have a Howard Dean moment before this campaign is over unless Barack duct tapes my mouth shut.
