Just saw 60 minutes. They highlighted a doctor at Duke who treats brain cancer. His patients are generally people who've been told they have < 6 months to live. He's been able to keep many alive > 5 yrs cancer free.
I'm not the biggest duke university fan in the world, but I cannot knock efforts like this. That guy is friggin awesome imho. Many props to the Duke cancer center!

Sorry if I offended you.

Theresa,
I hope your sister is feeling better and has that behind her. Someone close to me was diagnosed last year. It looks pretty good at this point, so she should be ok thankfully.

My dad just had surgery for prostate caner at Duke University, he knew not to mess around with the local doctors, he went straight to Duke. Actually, tomorrow he goes back for his final check up. I went down there to be with him during his surgery, and that hospital is just awesome, very nice, and the staff is very nice. Also, my mom spoke with a lot of the nurses on dad's floor, and when she would tell them that her son was a huge Duke fan, she said almost every one of them had glowing things to say about Coach K and what he does for the community there. But the doctors there, I'll tell you, if I ever need serious medical assistance, that's where I'll be.
