Sam Brownback will not be president
Way to go, dumb***
I mean, it's alright to have a different opinion. But for Pete's sake, have that opinion somewhere besides Wisconsin.

Man, no wonder none of these politicians are honest. Every single word they say gets scrutinized and mulled over. Let a guy speak his mind and be honest, and they will tear you apart. No wonder nobody tells the truth. Certainly Manning is better than Farve is now, but it's dangerous to say, "the best QB of all time is..." because that's always going to be disputed. Brownback should of stuck with Manning because it sure isn't Favre anyway.
Brownback would be a great president because of his principles. Americans are too stupid to vote for a good president though IMHO.

I was hoping instead that this was about him not believing in evolution.

My God the media is stupid.
Can we focus on the issues, please? Why does it matter whether Brownback used Manning as his example? Its not like he dissed Favre...
Why do we constantly judge candidates by botched lines and mis-handled jokes?

You don't understand. Eaglewing hates everything about the SEC, which includes Ole Miss. You see, Peyton's father, Archie, as well as his brother, Eli, played at Ole Miss. Eagle is a USM fan. Brett Favre is a USM Alum. They hate that ****, doesn't matter if we're all Mississippians. To them, you see, it's as if we're the Commies vs. Americans vs. Aliens. Does it make sense? Well, no. Not to me, and not to most sensible people. You see how bad it actually is. He's saying a candidate isn't qualified because he said Manning was better than Favre.
Gee, if it were ONLY that simple. /extreme f'n dripping sarcasm.
Oh, and welcome to my world.
Someone should have told me long ago that I wasn't supposed to cheer for USM because they weren't in the SEC. I wouldn......oh wait, yes I would. I'd have still cheered for them because they are a team from my home state. Then again, I would like to think I was a rational person.

Well, I'm glad you got that out of your system.
Umm, I've actually been to some Ole Miss games and cheered for them in the past. :shhh: I'm not exactly a traditional eagle fan(i.e. I root for Louisville sometimes).
I don't hate the SEC.
I don't hate Ole Miss.
And I only meant for the thread to be taken as a joke. Would I actually discount a candidate based on this? Nah.
I think it's you that doesn't understand.
But then again, you know me better than me, since you can write all that after looking at three sentences.
Edit: Oh, and the SEC and Ole Miss never actually crossed my mind when I read the article. I thought it was funny purely from a Packers standpoint.

When I recently interviewed for that job in Forest, MS, I thought how easy it would be to go to USM, Ole Miss and even Miss State games. Each was no more than about 2.5 hours of driving time with Hattiesburg being the closest.

It's cool going to Ole Miss games, because you drive up to Memphis before or afterwards for some BBQ(though Oxford has some good places to eat at). At USM, the coast is pretty close also. Mississippi isn't the boring place people make it out to be.

My bad about the "blow up". I must have had a Winged_Eagle relapse.
To my knowledge, Ole Miss isn't filtered out. If so, that's gonna change.
Hattiesburg, EZ, is probably the bigger party town. I've spent many nights down there, Roper's, Senor Frog.....when it was there, Don and Ellies.

No problem, I don't go around eagletalk or the other usm sites much, but I know how crazy they can get about Ole Miss.

Brownback has a better shot at VP if someone like Rudy McRomney gets nominated

Yeah, I thought the Republicans were against crazy human cloning freakish crass-breeding, but I guess if they are fielding Rudy McRomney that they were against it before they were for it, or sumthin.
