That 'nut' helped bring about the end of the Cold War, which led to freedom for millions of people. That 'nut' helped bring America back from the brink of economic devastation.

Read a book.

Raygun Ronny's disdain for conservation and environmental policies is directly correlated to the mess we have today in the Middle East.

Yeah. It was Ronnie's fault that the Iranians took our embassy workers hostage. It was Ronnie's fault that the Russians invaded Afganistan. It was Ronnie's fault that Iraq and Iran went to war. It was Ronnie's fault that....

History...Who needs it!

There are three main reasons we are in Iraq.

Oil, Oil, and more Oil. The guy was as anti conservation as you could get. He seemed to get his jollies off of being anti-environment. We find an alternative source to fuel our cars and were out of the middle east by next Tuesday. Think of Carter's two biggest achievements. Peace between Egypt and Isreal, and truly trying to get our country into a conservation mindest. Ronny pretty much ignored the Middle East and tore out the White House solar panels that Carter installed. Keep worshipping at the altar of Reagan. I have better things to do.

If you're talking about the Immigration Act of 1986, you're right. The good outweighed the bad though.

Um...

Credibility goes out the window when a person uses Jimmy freakin' Carter as a model for...anything.

the soviet union's economy was crumbling before reagan, and the regime would have collapsed eventually. with that said, reagan defintely sped up that collapse, and therefore made the transition much more peaceful in the warsaw pact nations, sans romania. look at the one european communist nation that wasnt under the soviet sphere of influence, yugoslavia, as an example of what could've happened to the rest of those communist nations without reagan's additional pressure. europe would have been in a chaos much similar to 1917-1925 europe. we all know what happened after that.

That scary psycho b**** defines Reagan just shy of Catholic Priest. So instead of sitting candidates down, why doesn't SHE sit down, shut up, and go fondle herself to some Pat Buchanan books and episodes of 700 club.
