How would you rank the top 5 teams in baseball based on what you've seen in the first couple of weeks?

1. Mets - I told you all they had more starting pitching than they got credit for. With that lineup, they are still REALLY good.

2. Braves - The bullpen's been a little disappointing, but the rotation looks much improved and they have plenty of guys who can and will mash.

3. Red Sox - Dice-K's as good as advertised. I truly believe this is the year they knock off the Yankees.

4. Tigers - They've been beating up on bad teams, but this team still has a great shot to repeat in the AL.

5. Dodgers - Schmidt looks finished, but the rest of this team is very good. I still wonder if they have enough power to win the pennant.

i'll post mine later when i have more time, bonds just tied the game with #738. I would like to point out how right i was about schmidt. Calling him and zito a wash was ridiculous. also, i'm still not buying into the mets rotation, but you and my dad are right so far.

In fairness, I had no idea he was going to lose 8-10 mph off his fastball. I'm not sold on Zito having a big year either. Not with that team behind him.

i tried to tell you. i'm not looking for a big year, just a 3.50 ERA. This just proves that we have to watch these players in order to truly scout them. Look at pierzynski, i thought he was good.
