Last nights episode was very moving. The hour dealing with the soldiers lives was excellent. I can't tell you enough of how good it was. The difficulties our troops are under and how proud they were of their service and of each other. A sharp tip to a dull policy spear.

The Case for War with Richard Perle was excellent last night. He actually goes to the anti war rally's and tries to have a dialogue with the people there. I'm telling you it was moving television. I gained respect for Perle.
The first episode showed the training of the Iraqi's and the progress or lack thereof of the police and army. Excellent excellent excellent TV. Hopefully some of you tune in. I've Tivo'd every episode.

Here's the schedule. They try to balance both sides. The right would love "The Case for War". The Gangs of Iraq show what trouble we are having there. The police totally abandon their posts. You go on raids and the Iraqi police didn't know they were being filmed and they knew where the weapons were but didn't tell our troops. The Mahdi army is totally imbedded in the troops we are training. We very well may be arming the Shite's for a civil war. It's just great TV.
Sunday, April 15: JIHAD: THE MEN AND IDEAS BEHIND AL QAEDA, 9:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Monday, April 16: WARRIORS, 9:00 - 10:00 p.m.
OPERATION HOMECOMING: WRITING THE WARTIME EXPERIENCE, 10:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 17: GANGS OF IRAQ, 9:00 - 10:00 p.m.
THE CASE FOR WAR: IN DEFENSE OF FREEDOM, 10:00 - 11:00 p.m.

it is. although sigourny weaver makes me homicidal. it would be 100x better if they had kept david attenborough's narration from the BBC broadcasts.
