Some complex issues today involving Iran. Why would President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad say that Iran was now capable of enriching nuclear fuel "on an industrial scale"? If he could, why wouldn't he wait it out til they could produce a bomb? If it was your goal to acquire nukes why wouldn't you just stall and wait it out. Why poke and prod the West in the eye with a stick. To me it doesn't make sense. Now some estimates say they could have a bomb by 2008.

When I was on Oprah this is the exact question I asked O'Reilly. Why are we treating Iran so differently than Iraq. Iraq has never made sense to me. We had him bottled up. Now through W's actions we are hamstrung with Iran. I know alot of you think Isreal will do our dirty work, but I'm not so sure. If Iran gets a nuke. Saudi Arabia will want a nuke. Your going to have nuclear proliferation in a highly volatile region. What a catastrophic embarassment W's foreign policy has become. Unless you are resigned to letting Iran have nukes, we have to bomb the nuke facility. We can't invade Iran. Our boy's are going to be at the mercy of the Shite majority in Iraq. I see Al-Sadr just called for all Shites to resist the occupiers and fight us. What a terrible day for the West.


I think EVERYONE on here should agree that Iran would not be acquiring nukes if not for the Iraq fiasco. i.e. no invasion no Iran weapons. Hell probably no Ahmadinejad. A colossal mistake of biblical proportions.

Sure thing. Right after you provide evidence or a well reasoned argument as to:

1) Why Iran just started trying to acquire a nuke after we went to Iraq when it's a documented fact they were trying for years before
2) Why Russia, China and France would not be shielding Iran from heavier sanctions had we not gone into Iraq
3) Why Russia would not be building Iran a nuke facility had we never gone to Iraq
4) Why out of the goodness of their hearts Iran would actually STOP pursuing nukes if we'd never gone into a Iraq. A total reversal of their position from years and years before W ever even took office
5) How exactly more moderate forces would have gotten control of Iran, hence no Ahmadenacrazy, when the radicals have controlled that country for nearly 3 decades and beyond.

Answer all those and provide some proof (note your opinion is not proof) and I'll jump right on your bandwagon Dogger.
