Just heard the news that Ryan Braun and Stephen Ghutzman have ended up in Vegas to play their senior seasons with the Runnin' Rebels. I hate to lose Braun, as he was a good pitcher and designated hitter. Ghutzman is another story. I will miss watching that wacko father of his at the games, though.

Apparently, Braun's father was very unhappy about the way the season ended with Ryan pitching the Saturday game against Richmond in the Regionals. He didn't want Ryan to pitch, instead he wanted him to be the designated hitter. This inflamed him to the point he tried to get Ryan to quit the team that very day. It's been up in the air since then if he would transfer or not. My theory is that his Dad got together with Ghutzman's Dad and they worked out some kind of package deal. Ghutzman's Dad is one bonafide psychopath.
