You know it just adds to the greenhouse gases to produce and ship that DVD. I won't even go into the energy consumption of operating a DVD player and TV.

Environmental advocates have never argued that all economic or industrial production should be ceased, and never would.

Actually some have. Many others simply want to return to a more "simpler" time, reducing substantially economic and industrial production, ironically despite the fact that efficiencies were far lower, and pollution/good produced, higher.
