Hmmm, what do you guys think? Peace offering, or planned a while back and they just wanted to wait until after the election so the Dems couldn't use it as implied admission of guilt?

i have a hard time believing this was an off the cuff decision. it had to be in the works for some time.

Agree. It could have been a peace offering they knew they'd have to give.

A friend of mine who's a big Rush fan emailed me saying that when Bush had is call with Pelosi she probably gave him a laundry list of what he'd have to do and Bush said "Ok." Almost like she runs the country now.

I think Rush may be going a little overboard on that one.
