Advice
So we go to the IRS Friday and pick up a bunch of used computers they were getting rid of. Most of them are old PC's which are for the most part worthless. They did have a couple of Dell laptops which are a couple of years old. I think they work. When I turn them on they say no boot sector on the hard disc. I assume they wiped these machines. It is a Dell Latitude 600. Any ideas how I can make these work? I want to give them to a couple of kids I know. Thanks.

Hi rickheel,

Hey buddy,Just watch out your system correctly, these error is common error and can be solve easily. Just check your power cable and IDE for it as it is really comfortable attached with your Hard Drive or not then reboot your system. It will surely work if is still detect same former condition then change the device buddy otherwise you work will be in Halt area.

Thanks

I'm guessing that Rick isn't still troubleshooting this problem from three years ago.
