Everyone has shrouds, filters through which they see the world. You have yours , too, and to define your vision as clear while others are shrouded is simply hubris.
Everybody has things that shape their vision of the world - race is only one, but age, regional origins, economic status (past and present), individual experiences, friends, etc are just a few of the other things that shape our filters.
Maybe these discussions change our filters - mine AND yours, but make no mistake, there will still be filters and there will be always be a difference in perceptions. The trick is to try and understand the other guy's view while seeing something different through your own eyes. Then question the validity of both sights.

She is now claiming that she is sorry for the scuffle. Sorry? If you weren't doing anything and you were assaulted because you were black, why would you be sorry about it? Doesn't this make Danny Glover and Bellafonte look like a couple of goons just waiting for a chance to cry racism.
lmfao lmfao

If white people weren't so racist.... Are we finally at the point where we are going to stop listening to this nonsense?

Thug culture is a form of self-loathing, and this self-loathing is something that has gone on for generations as a result of institutionalized racism.
You'll have to actually offer some proof for that last sentence. Just assuming it's true doesn't make it so.
Frankly I don't believe it is self-loathing...it is a man's desire for strength gone awry. In "Wild at Heart", John Edridge's book about men (and men who are really boys), he describes that at the heart of every man in every time and culture is the want to be "dangerous". I personally think that a better word would be "powerful" or "strong", but I hope you get the point.
The thug culture is this natural, and frankly good, desire twisted and distorted. Has this distortion come about b/c of racism? You might try proving that if you think it's the case. I'd say it's a tough way to go since people of every race experience this identical behavior.

Hmmm... I wonder if a terrorist who is going to kill someone is smart enough to figure out how to watch TV or look on the internet to figure out what they look like. I guess a lapel pin would make it easier...
LOL, right or that they are surrounded by their posse at all times. She needs to be removed from office.
