Im sick of hearing about Dick & his gun.
It was an accident!!!!!!!

Get over it.

I think Dick Cheney sucks and I sure as hell didnt vote for Dipsh_t Dubya, but get off the mans back.

Its not like Dick was hiding in the brush and jumped out and shot up the enemy.

Some people are making far too big a deal of this and this Democrat stands behind Dick all the way!!!!!

I think this is going to backfire on the Democrats who think they can make something out of this.

Sensible Democrats realize it was an accident... even MU ATO does!

This goes with Kev's post:

It won't go away for a while, and it shouldn't. This has shown us the perfect crime. Take a man hunting and call it an accident and you could get away with murder. Also, this could have gone away alot sooner if he had been a little more open about the incident, however he chose to act like he always does with nothing but contempt for anyone who dares question him. I'm wondering if he is wagging the dog a bit, we're distracted from their domestic spying controversy. 05-stirthepot

You remind me of my nine-year-old nephew - he sees all sorts of things in his imagination too. Usually what he expects to see.

Accidents happen. I used to be a hunter, and I was involved in an accident too - except I was the target, and it involved a rifle. No need to attribute motive, unless you just want to create trouble where none exists.

Kerry hunts. If it had been him, would you have any questions?

That was his attempt to pick up some last minute southern voters.

Yes I would. The fact that the guy who was shot got out of the hospital with birdshot in his face apologizing to the guy that shot him is laughable to me. I guess he got an IV of the koolaid in the hospital. 01-wingedeagle

Good for you, Jtiger. My impression of you has been that you only see evil when a Republican is involved. Although I see nothing sinister(or laughable) in the whole affair, the fact that you would raise the same questions about Kerry is a point in your favor. Maybe I need to reevaluate my impression of you.

I just think it would be a different story if Clinton was out there and shot a man in the face. Either way it would need to be investigated whomever shot or was shot in my opinion.

Probably so, we all expect that Clinton has a steady hand (see long list of women that know him intimately), but Cheney's heart could explode at any minute. That could lead to all kinds of tension and itchy fingers.

If Clinton shot somebody, the news should jump all over it. In this case, the fault lies with the guy that went hunting with Cheney. ;-)
