Just checking if the things you don't joke about apply to the Senate or ONLY the President.

I'm not sure exactly, but I've got the feeling this is a fake report.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure of that now. Theres a big difference between plotting the assassination of the president, and members of congress receiving handguns from the NRA in a fake newsreport.

Ol Teddy would've had to have been on one heck of a bender to accept a handgun from the NRA. He once proposed a law that said if someone broke into your house, you had to abandon your house and run away, then if the person followed you, and all atempts to evade failed, you might be able to use a handgun in self defense. :D

Thank you, I was quite aware of that.
Just checking to see if the following holds for just the Prez or for other elected officials also, since he used the word 'joke'.
Quote:There are things in life you don't joke about:
1. Killing the US President
2. Having a bomb at an airport or on a plane (and most public places)
3. Tearing up your older brother's baseball cards
4. Killing or harming the US President

Well I don't really think it matters right now considering it matches nothing on the list.
