1. That Anastasia chick needs to learn the words to the Star Spangled Banner. I can't believe someone could sing on a stage that big and NOT KNOW THE CORRECT WORDS! Pisses me off.

2. Can MLB not afford microphones? At the post-game press conference, Selig, Torre, and Brenley shared one mic.

Only two? You might be MLB's biggest fan right now....

(Oh, and Dean Koontz is awesome -- I am rereading Cold Fire right now.)

I don't particulary like the game ending in a tie, but I understand why it happened. I'm ok with that. Hopefully they'll add more pitcher spots to the roster or pick more starters and let them go a couple of innings in the future.

I do think they should expand the rosters a bit.

The problem is, if they still have the mentality that they want to try to let everyone play, then the problem will be the same no matter how many people play. Seems that everyone will get less time and we'll still be at the end of the rosters in the 9th inning and beyond....

I think they just don't need to focus so much on getting everyone in the game. Invite a couple of extra people under the guise that they are "alternates" -- if you will -- and that they will probably not get to play. I highly doubt they would turn down the chance to be on the team and sit on the bench next to all the other stars.
