Yes. We're going to lose 5-7 starters on defense. Our offense sucks. We have cap problems and we're not drafting until late in each round. Who do you think will be better next year?

I'm just remembering the state of our two teams as we were entering the 2000-2001 season. The Redskins were touted as a Super Bowl lock. The Ravens were hoping to just get into the playoffs. You remember how it worked out. I'd be careful about making too many bets.

LT we see eye to eye on all things Terp related!!!!!

But when it comes to NFL football... Your a complete WACKO

Crows stink 'Skins rule

Here is some interesting stuff from ESPN....

A week ago, the Ravens were $26 million over the salary cap and saved $7 million when they lost wide receiver Jermaine Lewis and linebacker Jamie Sharper to the expansion Houston Texans. But that wasn't nearly enough.

Ravens vice president Ozzie Newsome spelled out the rest of the roster changes needed to get the team under the salary cap Tuesday. He said the he Ravens will make the following moves over the next two days to get at least $1 million under the NFL-mandated $71.1 million league spending limit by Friday's deadline.

They will terminate the contracts of tight end Shannon Sharpe, wide receiver Qadry Ismail, fullback Sam Gash, offensive lineman Kipp Vickers, defensive linemen Rob Burnett and Larry Webster and free safety Rod Woodson.

They will not pick up the option of right tackle Leon Searcy and will make him a free agent.

They will formally retire defensive tackle Tony Siragusa.

They will not offer contracts to three restricted free agents -- linebacker Brad Jackson, kicker Danny Kight and fullback Obafemi Ayanbadejo.

Hey DT I heard today on Sports Talk 980 that they are also about to get Shane Matthews from the Bears.

I can't say I'm doing back flips over these things but to get Wuerffel for Deloach... He only makes 550,000.00/year...

Plus both of them at least know the system and now we can get rid of Banks... The last two teams to bench or trade Banks have gone on to win the SuperBowl..

NavyDoc. I know what going on with the Ravens. Despite all of that, I'm still asking you if you think the Skins will have a better record?

Never really seen Wuerffel in a NFL game situation, so I'm not sure how good (or bad) he could be. Definitely would prefer Kent Graham to Matthews, but I don't know if Graham fits into the fun-n-gun type of offense. Oh well, atleast we should score more than 16 points a game like last year.

When you look back to the Joe Gibbs Era it is the system not the players that make each other. Gibbs had an awesome systems ed that allowed him to be the only coach in NFL history to win 3 Superbowls with three different QB's.

Look at Gannon when he was here he sucked. In Oaklnad he is a GOD. Has he really improved that much? I think not it is the system.

Spurrier has a great system that both Wuerfful and Matthews excelled in. Wuerfful won the Heisman working this system.

I would much rather have two QB's in here that know the sysyem then one that does not.

The QB position is finally not a concern for us this year...

Now WR is still questionable...

Is he healthy and will he be back? If we could utilize him more, that would open things up for the WRs.

I doubt we would keep either one of them. Rasby and Flemister will be fine at TE and I had as many big plays as Westbrook last year so he will not be that big a loss...
