per Yahoo sports....
Ryan Leaf is getting another shot in the NFL, returning to the state where he rose to prominence as a college quarterback.
The Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday signed the former Washington State star and No. 2 overall draft pick to a one-year contract -- one day after Leaf was released by the Dallas Cowboys.
Leaf, who has flopped in San Diego and Tampa, passed his physical examination with the Seahawks. The No. 2 pick in the 1998 draft will compete with rookie Jeff Kelly, a seventh-round choice this year, and free agent Ryan Van Dyke for the third-string job in Seattle.
Trent Dilfer is the starting quarterback and Matt Hasselbeck is Dilfer's backup.

Can you believe that? I remember a saying that went something like...those that forget their history, are doomed to repeat it. As in Rick Mirer-Cryin Ryan. Both had/have $1M arms & $0.10 heads.
Is the "guru" (Homegrown) so arrogant that he thinks only HE can get production out of Leaf? I mean come on, Dallas (desperation city) cut him in favor of a kid that's been playing baseball for the last 2 years. Chad Hutchinson. Leaf should be doing Curt Warner's old job of baggin groceries.
