Curtis Joseph will hold a press conference later this morning to announce that he has signed a deal with the Detroit Red Wings. Area radio stations and ESPN have confirmed the report.
Can you say REPEAT!

Good! The Canes know how to beat him.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Seriously, this is a good pickup for the Wings. I wouldn't mind seeing a Wings-Canes rematch next year....

It's official. It is being reported as a 3 year deal with the possibility of a 4th year, depending on Detroit's performance in the playoffs over the next couple of years.
Now we need to resign Chelios and maybe get another solid defenseman to add some depth.
The Wings don't rebuild, they reload!
