The Boston Celtics managed to find the focus that evaded them last Sunday. After suffering from defensive lapses that allowed the New Jersey Nets to score 81 points through three quarters in Game 1, the Celtics put on the clamps. It also helped their cause the Nets were as cold as ice from the field. Not even another triple double from Jason Kidd could undo the damage as Antoine Walker scored 26 points to lead the Celtics to the 93-86 victory -- tying the Eastern Conference finals at one-game-apiece.

Great win for Boston <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> ; it was an ugly game to watch though.

I sure hope Boston doesnt win this series, with their lack of a post game they will just get beat up by the Lakers(I love Sacramento but they arent going to win, and if they did they would beat them up too) at least NJ has a couple decent post players with Martin and MacCollough, they would still probably get beat but it wouldnt be as ugly. I dont want to see a final with Shaq getting uncontested dunks all series long.

Personally, I like the thought of Shaq getting uncontested dunks all the time.....lol.

I guess I saw a different game the other night with Boston and NJ. I thought Boston's defense was nothing special at all. Keith van Horn and Kerry Kittles combined to take 24 shots, 19 of which(per the NY post) were uncontested, of which, they only made 3 of them. 3 of 19 in uncontested jumpers from just those 2 guys, thats terrible shooting! Watching the game, I just got the feeling this was a lousy shooting effort, I saw nothing that made me think defense was special at all. I mean Boston fronts the post all the time. What would they do with Shaq? If they do that, it will be Shaq dunking all the time........I like that thought. LA and Sacramento can both shoot the ball from the perimeter, NJ cant. Defense looks good when you let the other team shoot........and they keep missing.

I'd like to see Martin vs. Shaq.
