I am glad that they are gone; the Hornets were constantly complaining and I could really care less about them. Their organization has really made some stupid mistakes:
1) trading Kobe Bryant
2) turning away Michael Jordan (not sure if "turning away" is right phrase, but the Hornets probably could have had MJ instead of the Wizards)

While I hate to see the team go, I hope the owners love it down in New Orleans and never come back. One is a bumbling idiot; the other is a sleazy womanizer. The day both of them leave Charlotte for good is a day that many here with rejoice....

I think most fans want a team here with the right owners -- and they don't have to be saints, as long as they don't give the city a black eye -- and an uptown arena.

I went to nary a game this year, but I would have gone to some if the arena had been uptown (and if I didn't feel like I was putting money in Georgie and RayRay's pockets). I am on the exact opposite side of town as the Coliseum, so it's a good drive for me to get there.

Building an uptown arena would help spice up the uptown and make it exciting to go there. Building an uptown baseball stadium for the AAA Knights is also a necessity. It's not like we already have so many landmarks uptown that we couldn't use any more.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
