Dusty Baker And McGowan, What happened?

You would think that after leading his team to the the Pennant and the World Series any manager would have his feet in gold slippers for at least two years.

But was not the case this year in the San Francisco Giant family.

From what I understand, Dusty Baker felt he should be rewarded after ten years of achievement guiding the Giants to success on many of these years, with a piece of the franchise. McGowan did not see it that way.
