WAKEFOREST OR DUKE

We're talking football here.

Hey dipshit, Wake finished 6-5 and has 17 returning starters. Clemson finished the regular season 6-5 as well and had to buy their way into a bowl game.

Wake ruined 2 homecomings last year @ UNC & @ UVA. Clemson might not have a very good one this year.

Listen numbnuts, your tiggers may have squeaked out a win in Winston last year, but we finished the regular season with the exact same record. And we are extremely jealous of that Boise Idaho bowl bid you got. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />

How good could you guys be this year? Last year was Dantzler and the 80 dwarfs, and Dantzler is gone. I dont see any return trip to blue turf for you guys this year, or any other bowl for that matter.

I've heard that academics are a stretch for Clemson students (sic), however one would think you would know how to properly spell the names of all of your fellow conference schools.

Listen y'all can put Wake at the bottom of the ACC this year out of habit and show yourselves to be ignorant football fans, or you can use an once of thought and realize that we had a good team last year that played as a team. We now have a solid coaching staff, and we are going to be a good team again this year.

Clemson lost 4 starting offensive linemen and a Heisman candidate. Granted Simmons is probably the better all around QB, but Woody was a leader and had a good OL in front of him. How good will your line be? Clemson also has a new DC who was not altogether stellar at his last job. You can refer to your offensive skill positions, which are very strong, but Clemson has many question marks including the secondary.

Hey, lets not all get upset. You wake fans had the same record as we did last year right? The matter is that we beat you and you had a pretty nice season, and we had a down season - check the numbers. So enough of that talk about the Tigers. So who's winning the poll?

Hey Wake-Forest (lol) fans don't get all pissed, you had a great year. You guys went 6-5 the same as the Clemson Tigers, you all should be happy about last year. Also we didn't buy our way into that bowl game - they picked us simply because we are known to ravel well. (experience) It was easy to see that we shouldn't have played them because we killed them. I totally agree that Wake Forest should've played that game - it would have been so much more interesting. All the wake fans do have one thing right, our offensive line will be young in 2002. I can assure you that they will hold up to your nationaly ranked defense on October 19. I hope to see you all in the valley, even the race fans you spoke of.

Looks like the Wake fans are getting a little defensive. You have a reason to be though. No team should be compared to Duke, that's just an insult.

Duke goes winless again while the Deacons make a bowl game. That's my prediction. Wake is a very underrated team but there is a reason for that. Historically Wake has played pretty bad as of late (minus last season), a team filled with no names, and a coach no one has ever heard of. But it looks like Wake is on the upswing (could pull a maryland) and should not be taken lightly.
