According to the Columbus Dispatch, former Clemson guard Tony Stockman will become an Ohio State Buckeye.

Stockman said that Ohio State coach Jim O'Brien offered him a scholarship late Tuesday night and he accepted. After sitting out next season as required by NCAA transfer rules, he will fill the combo-guard role vacated by Brent Darby, who will be a senior next season.

"There's a lot more to my game (than shooting threes),'' Stockman told the paper. "What (Ohio State coaches) liked first about me in high school was my ball-handling and passing ability.

"At Clemson, the way it was set up, we had (current Memphis Grizzlies point guard) Will Solomon when I was a freshman, the offense was focused on him, people would double-team him and I would just spot up (for open threes). This year, I tore (right knee cartilage in November), missed two games and when I came back I was mostly just a three-point shooter.''
