Liberals serve in the armed forces and know the horrors of war, neo cons on the other hand get deferments and prefer to send the liberals' children off to do their fighting for them.

Troops are included in American citizens but I guess I should've specified between troops and civilians.

So let me get this straight you're saying
1) That it's ok not to protect yourself until you're attacked
2) That conservatives don't serve in the military.

Wow, that will come as a shock to many people, seeing as the military vote was overwhelmingly for Bush in 2000. And that military officers identify themselves as Republicans by a majority of 8 to 1.

One more question, if only liberals serve in the army, then why would Al Gore move to have military ballots thrown out in Florida in 2000. What a dumb move, that would have propelled him to victory, seeing as only liberals serve in the army. :rolleyes:

Kerry was out there fighting, where was your commander in chief? And your VP......in fact other than Colin Powell name anyone in the Whitehouse gang with a record of military service

couldn't see the pic. that is what I get for assuming :laugh: However, kerry's "service" is about as laughable as Bush's. Nominating himself for medals, all of which he didn't deserve. Yup, I said it HE DIDN'T DESERVE. This guy is the biggest fraud to ever run for president. I am voting for Bush, but, it's not because I always vote republican, it's b/c of the two, I think bush is the most competent. Tell me you don't think he did a good job managing the 9/11 fiasco.

I truly appreciate that you are willing to go off and fight for our country. So for your sake and the sake of everyone else in the military, that only makes the government's obligation to make sure we're targeting the right people all the more essential.

It is tragic to have to tell troops that they have fought the wrong war. The fallout from that upon both our military and public opinion are destined to be the legacies of the Iraq War.
