Wilcox is gone officially now. Maryland only going to return Blake. Can you see the 2002 National Champs not being ranked at the end of the 2003 season? That would be weird.

Looks like the ACC is going to be weak next year. Duke will be the beast of the league again. They won't be as good as they were this season though.

Maryland will have a big drop off from last year.

NC St. looks like they're program is getting better but the'll lose Miller and Grundy.

FSU lost Dixon, Arrington, and Cummings. Their three best players. Plus the new coach will take time to get used to.

Clemson, is there going to be anyone left to play down there? Stockman transfered. They still got Hobbs though.

Georgia Tech may have the best coach in the ACC outside of K and Williams. But they lose their best player in Aikens.

Wake is losing Songaila. Prosser is a good coach though. They may give Duke a run.

UVA will probably have their yearly meltdown. With Mason, Jr. going to the NBA, UVA will probably be mediocre once again.

That leaves UNC. Who knows how next season will go. The jury is still out on Doherty's coaching ability. Going to be more athletic, but EXTREMELY young. 9 of their top 10 players will be Freshmen and Sophmores. Starting 3 freshmen and 2 sophmores is a strong possibility. They are a year or two away from being back on top of the conference.

Maryland will still be good:

They have some very good veteran players (Jrs. and Srs.), some good freshmen, and a great coach in Gary Williams.
