CNN was talking to a reporter from the French TV station FR 2 earlier. The studio host asked him "How do you respond to the Iraqi gov't claim that 250+ civilians have been injured in the bombings? Walking around the city, have you seen evidence of this?"

The French reporter's response: "Well, I haven't seen that personally but if they said it, it must be true." Yeah, chief. I guess you believe they didn't set the oil wells on fire and that they destroyed 5 of our tanks too, huh?

I about fell out of my chair when he said that. You could even hear the guy in the studio snickering in the background. Unreal how blind to the truth they really are...

I agree with you in principal but I am not surprised by these type of comments I am anti french and don't really care what they say, I do think they should not be allowed to have a say in the new Iraqi Govt, they along with the UN members who are not supporting us, they have vetoed their right to have a say and are no longer relavent to the entire regime change, they are 'out of the loop'
