GoHeels.com will cease to exist on Sept. 1.

I am sad to see it go, they had some great information/articles on there. Plus, the site wasn't really done like a business (IC and TarHeelNation) and you could get good info for free.

Anyways, bye bye GoHeels.com, we will miss you!

It was letters to the editor and call-in radio to the nth multiplier.

I heard from the Dookies when I ripped Mike Krzyzewski’s criticism of Carolina following the 1998 ACC Tournament.

I heard from Clemson fans when I called Rick Barnes a crybaby and a phony.

I heard from the Wolfies several times when I labeled their fans rednecks and their football stadium a “concrete carcass in the fairgrounds.”

I also heard from our own fans when I wrote that hiring Carl Torbush when we did was a mistake but Carolina, in good conscience, couldn’t fire him after only two years.

Or when I said Duke’s basketball program had surpassed ours, and why it happened.

Love him or hate him, Artie could stir it up!
