... because I am apparently a jinx.

Last season I attended nearly every weekend Sooners home baseball game. This year I've only made it to three (one was a doubleheader).

I was unable to attend many games this year either because of work, illness, or crappy weather. While I was away, the team was getting off to a good start and it looked like an optimistic season.

The first game I attend in weeks, OU gets shelled by the hated Texas Longhorns. They seem to have been snakebit again. I want to just pat them on the back and say "buck up, camper," but I'm afraid I'll give them something. Like typhus, maybe.

I hate being a jinx. It sucks.

I was at L Dale last night on a surprisingly cool night for baseball(as the game wore on). Pretty wild game, but OU had the stronger bats after 11 runs in the first two to take down the Wildcats 15-10. We need to win at least 5 games in these two series with Kansas and Kansas State, so we can get back on track for Okie State.
