Junior Griffey hit his 500th homer today. A solo shot. I was hoping he'd never get it.

Why not? Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall are the longest running broadcast tandum and are the face of Reds baseball. They have been making historic calls for decades including Pete Rose's record breaking 4,192nd hit. If I was in his position I would ask for Marty and Joe over first year Reds broadcast Steve Stewart too.

I've always been a Griffey fan. Sure, he was arrogant, but he didn't act like he was mad at the world all the time like Bonds.
