Mother of God! The 3-22 Tigers and pitcher Mike Maroth have a no-hitter going thru 7 innings.

There is no joy Tiger Town, Jay Gibbons led off the 8th with a single.

Wuh oh! Our beloved Tigers have re-appeared. The no-no went bye bye, then the shutout, now the lead has just gone up in smoke.

4-3 O's on a Gary Matthews 2-run single.

Is Detroit the worst team ever? They're the worst I've ever seen.

Same here. I've never seen anything worse than this. They lost again today - they're now 3-25.

Yes, I'm afraid the Tigers are probably the worst team ever. In recent years they needed pitching and were losing games 14-10. They got rid of alot of their hitting talent to improve the pitching. Now they lose 2-1 and 4-3. They have a lot of rookies on the team, but the veterans are doing even worse. Dmitri Young is a career .300 hitter and he is batting like .145 right now. Bobby Higginson is batting below .200 too. How can they expect to win any games when the players that are supposed to be experienced and decent can't hit anything?

I have been a Tigers fan my whole life, and 1984 (last time they won the World Series) has just been too long ago. It is getting frustrating!

Well, like you said Higginson and Young are good hitters but not producing. They'll hit. The question is when?
