Dodgers pitcher Darren Dreifort will miss the rest of the season with knee surgery. Dreifort was 4-4 with a 4.03 ERA and had 67 strikeouts in 60 and one third innings pitched. Dreifort is in the final year of a 3 year 55 million dollar deal.
He missed all of 2002 after undergoing elbow surgery in July of 2001.

Imagine how the L.A. front office feels. He's gonna make about $55 million for a combined 15-20 starts since 2000.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. The Dodgers will probably have to eat most of his salary, then he may sign a minor league deal somewhere...or sign on as a reliever.

I know Kevin Brown is having a good comeback this year, but this has to be frustrating for L.A giving those huge salary's to two guys who for the most part have rotted on the D.L.
