speaking about the media....
bias in large, corporate media stations can "lean" any which way, but most of the time the leaning is to whatever the american public wants to hear.
if the public thinks someone is guilty, even if they're uninformed about the case, that's the way the media will go
Not trying to nail anyone's political stance, but that's the way it works.
It's difficult to find alternative viewpoints and factual information that US media giants don't want you hear -- NPR, BBC, Independent News UK, and various progressive websites that provide links to where you can get the information
It seems to me alot of the american public reads their little local newspaper about whatever current events are going on, and suddenly think they're "informed" about issues
Once again, not addressing anyone here, just giving you guys an idea to think about
Also, T-Monay, I know you're not fond of my views/posts, but all I ask is that you don't resort to any name calling, that is, if you decide to respond to my posts
I like political discussion, as long as its civil

Next you'll be saying PBS is unbiased.

i prefer PBS for british comedy, like Fawlty Towers
and did I say any of them were unbiased? No, so don't put words in my mouth.
Bias is ALWAYS present, but to what extent is more difficult and more complex, and in what forms as well.

Wait! Time-out! Are just telling me not to do this if I'm thinking about it, or did I actually do name-calling? If I have already done this, tell me where so I can see and remember.

Nah I'm pretty sure you never did any of it, but after going and reading through several of the threads so far in the forum, just thought I'd bring it up -- for anyone else that may read it, as well.
