Anyone see the game or the highlights from this one?
Pavano started for the Marlins and like all the pitchers that followed him, got rocked!!!
The Red Sox scored 10 runs in the first inning before the Marlins even got an out. I think they finished with 14 runs in the first.
The final was 25-8. One of the Fla pitchers took a line drive off the bat of Todd Walker. The ball hit the pitcher in the back of the head/neck area and was put on a respirator and carted off the field on a stretcher.
Toward the end of the game with Boston holding a commanding lead, the Boston pitcher threw behind the Fla batter and both benches emptied with calm quickly restored.
These teams play two more times Sat/Sun so it could be interesting to watch this series if you are able to see it.

Remember when the Reds beat the Rockies 24-12 a few years back? This one was like that.

Didn't see the game, but I saw the 7 minute highlight reel that ESPN showed last night.....WOW! What a wacky game!!!! :eek:
Hope that pitcher that got dinged for Fla is alright.
