Raptor Cox, the answer to your question is yes, they still give the 10 % discount on everything but grocery items. As for the grocery items, if we put our receipt in a big drawing box, we have the chance to get all of our $$'s back. But this is about like winning the lotto.

Hey Terpy, ever worked as the door greeter?? I had to do that a few time because the overnight managers liked me doing it for some reason, don't ask me why. It is by far, the least liked job in the store, but it does have some benefits, 03-wink There are tons of hot babes that come right through that door from 10 pm to 12 am, especially on Friday & Saturday nights. :D That's the best time to be door greeter. From 1:00 am to 5:00 am, it's pretty boring. :snore: I have to give the cashiers a bad time then or else I go crazy!

Never got to talk to a greeter before, cool.

The discount was nice, I got a lot of electronics then.

RaptorCox, let me say that I am a part-time door greeter (I've only done about 5 times since I got hired back in late March) , although I think one manager would love to put me over there full time. 03-razz Most of the time, I get to sling those heavy bags of dog food, and dip fish out for customers over in the pets department. Plus, I get to see some babes there too. 03-wink Nothing like pets dept., my home sweet home. :D

Don't have a blue belt anymore, but I do have a black belt, and it's optional if I want to wear it or not. :) Sometimes I wear it, sometimes I don't.

Furniture??? 03-razz 03-razz 03-razz Ughh!!! Oh well, I guess someone has to do it. If you like doing it, more power to ya!
I had to work in the furniture department some myself, and I didn't like it that much. Then again, our furniture department manager doesn't seem to have a clue as to where she wants stuff. One night its over here, couple of nights later, it's over there. As for the candles, some of them are a real pain in the arse to find!!! They sure do smell good though. What shift do you work Terpy??

BTW, working at WalMart isn't too bad because of the profit sharing agreement and the bonus you get after you've been there a year. Stick with it Terpy, and try to get a placement in pets!!!

I don't even like shopping at our local Wal-Mart. But the one in Troy, Alabama is GREAT. No rude people there.
