For all of those who are against gay marriages, this question may come into play.

Some are suggesting that we not use the term "marriage" as it has traditionally been used in a religious setting and that we should consider two people being joined together legally as only a union.

Because of the ever popular religious standpoint that homosexuality is immoral and wrong and with the alleged connection that some people think marriage has with that ...would a legal union suffice?
