Just wondering as to when some of you go back to school.

I know there's quite a few incoming juniors on the board, but are there more?

I start school Thursday (yuck).

You haven't seen him on the political board then. He's been to France and visited 8 cities in 12 days and is "claiming" to be an expert on French Culture now.

French Culture=Retreating and Surrendering.

Her avatar must use a manual. Looks to me like it's an expert at grabbing hard sticks and shifting gears over... and over....

We start on a Thursday, I think, to "get us back into the groove of school" without it being overwhelming. That's what they say, at least.

Two days of school, two days of break and then back to those long weeks.

My brother and sister start Monday August 26th! My parents went back yesterday for teachers only....

The lower part of SC does start early but I think most of them are out by Memorial day where most people up here in Maryland were in school for the better part of June!

Well, I've started. Yippee! 03-razz

Actually, this year isn't going to be bad. Piece of cake compared to last year, really.

I have a double class this year with my U.S. History, Honors and English 11, Honors class - taught by two teachers and it brings the two subjects together in a more "hands on" way. Talk about weird. One teacher gets up and he talks about the Native Americans of the Southwest and then the other teacher gets up and starts us in reading The Scarlet Letter. Really ties in together, eh?

And I can't believe I'm saying this ...but I like Precalculus.  :D
