Extremist muslim clerics will meet in London on September 11 to celebrate the anniversary of al-Qaeda's attacks on America and to launch an organisation for Islamic militants...

...It will launch the Islamic Council of Britain (ICB), which will aim to implement sharia law in Britain and will welcome al-Qa'eda sympathisers as members.

The conference, to be held at Finsbury Park mosque, north London, will be attended by followers of militant groups and chaired by their Muslim leaders, including Omar Bakri Mohammed, whose al-Muhajiroun group wants to establish a worldwide Islamic state.

{Who do these morons think they are dealing with, France? Powerless pieces of fecal matter.}

If you had half the faith of a good Christian... you wouldn't be like this.

99% of real Christians aren't bitter war mongers, FWIW.

I take that back... I will add something... I DO NOT think that I'm a good Christian by any means... Everyday I fail to achieve my own standards which I set... but I do try.

none of us are perfect...if we are only able to claim a religion we follow completely and totally, then none of us can claim to be a member of any religion. none of us are perfect.

i don't think it is fair to question someone else's faith. faith is a private matter that each person needs to feel comfortable with.

You are right. IMO, religion will send you to hell. I am a Christian who has faith, and that faith is blind (Is there any other kind?). Organized religion has been repsonsible for ALL SORTS of atrocities throughout history.

.....I don't think ANYONE can question my faith.....if they do, I may jump back on them, but then I usually just let it go, though not always. Only God knows one's heart.

1) I never said I'm not a "real" Christian. I don't think I'm a good Christian... VERY few people are... I try, however.

2) I didn't ever say he wasn't a "real" Christian... you assumed that.

Religion will send you to hell?

Ever heard of a couple guys named C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and most importantly... Jesus Christ? They would all disagree with you BIG TIME.

Religion/the church/Christian fellowship etc... whatever you want to call it... is how one achieves salvation... not hell... I don't know what you're talking about.

Christianity is a belief and/or set of beliefs. A religion is a perversion of that belief to suit someone's agenda.

And Christianity IS a religion. Baptist, United Methodist, Luthern, Episcopalian (etc...) are all denominations of the greater religion. Those are all factions of the religion of Christianity.
