I thought Dallas didn't look as bad as I would have hoped. Plus, Atlanta didn't look as good as I hoped. Good win, but Vick was sorely missed.

Dallas has the worst offense in football.

Hey, I'll take a 14 point win on the road over Parcells any day. Whoever said the Falcons would go 0-4 without Vick obviously doesn't know very much about football. It's a team sport. One guy doesn't make a team.

The worst running backs too, the only position on offense where they have any talent at all is wide reciever.

Parcells will succeed in Dallas - just give him time. I fear the future since Washington and Philly are improving.

I would love more than anything to see Parcells fail so all of his groupies in the Northeast would stop claiming that he is the best coach ever. What a load of bull... :chair:

Well...Washington stole 4 really good players from the Jets...

As far as Philly, I digress...BUT they have been a great team for years now. If you think they have gotten worst just because they lost to Tampa last year than you are mistaken, they are still the team to beat in the NFC East.

I never said that the eagles are getting worse because they lost to the Bucs last year. I just don't see evidence that the eagles are getting better. As for the redskins, they gained Coles who's awesome. John Hall is a very good kicker. Who else did they get?
On the flip side, they lost their running game and as i said before, football games are won in the trenches. The Redskins have a very young QB, they can't run the ball and they can't stop the run.

I don't see them getting a lot better until they can run the ball on offense and stop the run on defense.

Chad Morton is a great return man and Randy Thomas is a very good Guard.

Also if you would read I was agreeing with you on the Eagles....

I am a die hard Cowboys fan and I can say that I was happy to see Parcells come to Dallas. Alot of people don't like him and I would say that one reason is because he wins.

Usually by his second year with a team you start to see improvement. Dallas already has a decent defense and they will get better.

What kills Dallas is the offense. Quincy Carter is one of the worst QB's I've seen in my life. He makes it hard for me to even watch the games. Hopefully the Jags will trade Brunell and he will end up in Big D.

Well, I admit the Eagles can only go down except a Super Bowl appearance (but the Vet is gone and now players might not be so timid to play in Philly) - but Redskins were at rock bottom last season and can only improve (they have an easier schedule and Spurrier seems to have gotten his wake up call)

i guess you're right, the redskins can't get any worse. Thought they still don't have a running back.

Ladell Betts rushed for 77 yards on limited carries against the Jets...

do you honestly think ladell betts and trung candidate are a good running duo, or is it that the Jets have a terrible run defense. The jets D-Line is made up of pass rushers, not run stoppers, and their linebackers are mediocre at best.
