What's up with that? I now you guys were suppose to be down some last year, but come on that's ridiculious. Do you think next year is make or break for your coach? Not trying to start nothing but you guys aren't going to put up with this, are you?

Doherty also brought in 3 top ten players, which promises a lot of hope for the future. If he was losing and also not recruiting, then it would be a different story.

Most people attribute it to a lack of talent and a bit of Doherty's inexperience. We should be somewhat restocked with talent next year, and hopefully Doherty has learned a lot from this past year.

Hope that clears it up....

Seriously I was not trying to start trouble. I know you guys follow your team just the way we do. And I was just wondering what next year looked like for you, that's all. I think Dothery given a chance will be a good coach. Looking forward to next year down there!

GO BIG BLUE!!!!

There is a whole lot of talk about Carolina basketball history, last year's season, and the future. At UNC we have a high standard of excellence, but last year we had a down year for a number of reasons that we all can acknowledge but also because of numerous reasons that we may not know but we have opinions about (i.e. coach/es, a player/s, the athletic directors). As a Tar Heel, I was disappointed last year with our record but also with our team's improvement and performance overall on the season. However, I think the future is bright for our basketball program. Although Doherty is a young and unexperience background, he does have a solid base and knowledge of basketball that has been instilled in him throughout his lifetime by some of the best coaches and players to ever play the game. Our recruiting seems to look bright for the future, and hopefully our recruits in the future will come to UNC with a good overall attitude, willing to work hard to improve, and understand that there may be hard times but that you must keep going. I look forward to next season, hoping that it will be a year where our program begins to move in the right direction, and therefore setting the groundwork for success in the future of the UNC basketball program.

Ok, I hope that was good. Go Heels! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
