It's gotta be Bill Parcells so far, with Dick Vermeil, John Fox, and Mike Tice a close second.

Jeff Fisher deserves consideration. I've always thought he was a great coach -- and I saw firsthand how he totally outcoached Fox today.

The Titans were there last year. The Cowboys are here this year because of Parcells.

Now you gotta bring Belichick into the fold, considering so much of the Patriots lineup is out. But if the Cowboys make the playoffs, it still has to be Parcells, unless the Chiefs go undefeated.

It's definitely Parcells. Look at what he has done. Quincy Carter was pretty awful before Parcells came and now he is playing really good. The Cowboys have the best offense in the NFL now.

I wouldn't go so far to say they have the best offense in the NFL, but they are definitely improved.

not to take anything away from Parcells, but i heard that a huge part of carter's success is because of sean payton.

Everywhere Parcells has gone the quarterback play has improved drastically...Phil Simms in New York, Bledsoe in New England, and Vinny in New York.

like i said, i don't want to take anything away from parcells, but sean payton is rumored to be a big reason for carter's success. Terpy, do you know who sean payton is?

What does everybody think of Bellicheck's call yesterday? I don't think he deserves as much credit as he is getting for that call, if it would not have worked he would have been blasted. He does get points for creativity though. 04-bow

I'm being a little biased but Parcells gets my vote. Sean Payton was hired by Parcells therefore, if he can take the blame for when things go wrong, well then, he can take the credit when things go right.

When Payton or any other assistant becomes a head coach and is successful, then they'll get coach of the year consideration, and any other accolades that come with being the unltimate decison maker.

Mike Tice--Minnesota was in the midst of controversy last year with Randy Moss and Tice has turned the team around.

Tice might be a good coach, but it doesn't hurt that he has the easy schedule. The NFL is so unbalanced and predictable that it's hard to judge any team. How good are the Chiefs? They don't exactly have a hard schedule. I'm not saying the Chiefs are bad, but the unbalanced schedule makes it hard to judge a team.

I watched the Giants vs. Vikings game, and the Vikings looked terrible, maybe they had an off day. Who knows?
