I think he has established himself as the best player in hockey. He is by far the best passer, and could get 130 points this year. Any arguments?

With Selanne, Hedjuk, Sakic, and Kariya as all possible line mates, anything is possible with this guy.

Here's a thought: If Forsberg played for Nashville, would he be considered this good? Is his talent and scoring ability him or due to the tremendous talent that surrounds him?

Forsberg is without a doubt the best two way player in the game. He would be still be considered one of the best even with Nashville, maybe his numbers wouldn't be as gaudy, but he would still be an effective player.

In the playoffs, Forsberg becomes the best player in the game.

Forsberg would still be able to put up points in Nashville, but his assits would undoubtedly go down.

sorry when I typed my last message I was under the influence of halloween candy, I incorrectly thought that Gretsky a.k.a the good one, was still playing on the penguins, however i have now been correctly informed that he in fact retired in 1992

Probably forsburg, but I'd put Kovalchuck as the top upcoming player. He is the leading point scorer right now.
