I'll say this for the Tigers - at least they're trying to improve (of course, it's hard not to improve when you lose 119 games). They've already added Fernando Vina, Carlos Guillen and Rondell White.

Great pickup if they can get him. Catcher has been a black hole for a while in Detroit. Pudge would solve that problem.
