Quote:'m not exactly sure who you're playing ball with, but it sure ain't me, cause you ain't even in my league.

Right. This is major league heat and you're whiffing away in tee-ball, junior.

Maybe you could get your Daddy to re-tee that whiffle ball for you, sport. 03-wink

You know, puffing up your chest probably works on the playground around the way, homie, but all we have to judge you by here are your words.

And your words just ain't doing it.

Prove it? Sure.

1. You already proved my point for WHY we need affirmative action in the first place. For those "not in my league," let me put this in words you may or may not understand. . .

If you feel "black people are to [sic. . .I can't make this stuff up! :roflol: ] dumb to get into Michigan" then you guilty of being prejudiced against an entire percentage of humanity based on their skin color alone. There are people who RUN COLLEGES and BUSINESSES who feel the same way you do.

If we let the free market work, we're back to everybody in "real" jobs to being white males. Do you get it now?

P.S. It's Hypocrite, with an "e." But I know you knew that. Typo, I'm sure.

2. I'm not trying to change history, ding dong. I'm trying to point out that George Wallace was a Southern Democrat raised in the same tradition as the Dixiecrats. Thus, he wasn't ideologically a liberal as much as he was a conservative (see: Solid South's defection to the party of Lincoln post civil-rights era).

You're just going to have to look up Dixiecrats. I'm not doing all of your homework for you, champ.

3.
Quote:Its what the left is trying to do to America.

For those of us "not in your league," would you mind expanding this idea just a bit? Please? I know I'm slow, sir, but I'll get it, I promise.

I know you can only handle so much work at one time, so I'll just leave you with those three points for now.

Unless, of course, you don't feel like coming to the board anymore. Too busy out defeating communism, I know! :roflol: Carry on, young Patriot!

Yeah, those darn unions are CRAZINESS! Who needs worker protections, benefits, retirement or a living wage for chrissakes?

If they don't make enough money, then they should just go back to college and get a(nother) degree! :roflol:

Please just shut the f#$k up, little Ricky.

Why when it's a waste of time, effort, and breath.

Joe's a socialist, if you want to look at his dream world...go to Cuba.

Otherwise, the libbie bs meter says it all

They will probably bring up what the Romanovs did the the Russian people. ...but what did the children do? Weren't they innocent civilians? ...and aren't they bashing us for innocents being killed in Iraq? Is the only time they care about innocents when it fits their agenda?

...you wanna talk about free people, the USSR was the most free nation on Earth. Hell, talk about morals and humanity. Just look into Tupolev and the many other engineers and scientists that were incarcerated for their services under that Communist Utopia. Wanna talk about labor laws? Honestly, anyone that believes in communism is, IMO, nuts.

all Joe's ideas would be wonderful in a perfect world. Cut the military budget, and I am sure that all our enemies would be nice enough to cut theirs too, just because we are trying to do the right thing. And, hey, all the people in uniform, well, I guess their jobs don't matter as much to Joe. Also, any pinhead with half a brain knows that affermative action is nothing more than reverse racism, unless you remove all quotas. Come on Joe, you are killing me with your head up there in rainbow land.

Just a little FYI for those of you unwilling--or unable--to read anything that does not bear the imprimatur of conservatism.

I am an anarcho-syndicalist. My sig line is a direct quote from Wilson during the "Red Scare" of the teens and twenties of the twentieth century (when he was accusing moderates like yourselves of actively working to undermine this country--he called them direct allies of Trotsky, etc. Yes, I have a black, dry sense of humor. Take it up with my mother). I am ALSO a member of the CPUSA but more just because I like carrying around their little red card (next to my little boy-raping ACLU card).

While I feel that communism and socialism are both good stopgaps towards anarchy, no one will be truly happy until we do away with ALL governments and learn to organize into local collectives.

I do not, nor have I ever claimed to, support the Soviet pogroms, ethnic cleansings or anything made in the USSR. Communism is a great idea; what the USSR became was NOT what Marx had in mind.

Anyway, now that I've stated my position AGAIN, would anyone care to address the points that I've made ABOVE?

I personally would like to FINISH at least one debate on this board. One can hope. . .

Who's with me? Who wants to act like an adult and discuss the points raised?
