Every year you can vote for the "Best of Atlanta" restaurants & stores & the winning locations get some great advertising as well as a plaque to hang in their store.

This year my favorite restaurant is up for best steak place (non-chain). My brother, sister & I all worked here in high school, college, post-college, and the owners are like family. The food is excellent, the steaks high quality, and they have the most delectible prime rib! So your vote would be greatly appreciated!

<a href='http://www.accessatlanta.com/hp/content/entertainment/bestof/steaknonchain.html' target='_blank'>Vote for Cherokee Cattle Company!</a>

And if you're in Atlanta, or have dined in the metro area before, feel free to peruse the other categories and vote. One vote per category, per person, per day.

Thanks a million!!

Well, I thought all that personal stuff was just for the Delta tickets sweepstakes, but looks like it is for the voting as well. I'm a registered AJC online user, so it didn't prompt me for that.

Anyway, here is the restaurant website for any of y'all who may be in the Marietta, GA area looking for a good meal: <a href='http://www.cherokeecattle.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.cherokeecattle.com/</a>

I'll have to do that sometime, rick. I work not far north of there in Forest Park.

Better yet, I'll mention it to my brother & brother-in-law...they may want to check it out some weekend & play a round.
