The funny thing is the State fans think it was not an attempt, however feeble, at punching the other guy.

Come on...he was obviously trying to get up off the floor, slipped, and his arm fell back onto the Milwaukee guy!

Jules needs to get some pointers from Dahntay Jones on how to be a true cheap shot artist. You don't just take a swing at somebody out in the open like that. You've gotta get 'em (A) away from the ball when most people won't be paying attention, and (B) where it looks like an accident.

On a side note, Jules is looking more and more like a crackhead out there. The fella can't get much skinnier.

Amen to that! I tried posting over there a while back when they were ripping Tech for losing to Duke. I defended my team and at the end, I threw in a line that went something like "State came away with a 3pt win, so they didn't exactly tear up the Devils either." That set off all the alarms over there. "One more flame like that and you'll be removed" was the response I got from the mods. :rolleyes:

I watched the game on TV. They showed the replay from about 5 different angles, one of which was above Hodge. Yes, he "punched" the guy in the back, albeit one of the weakest punches I've seen on a basketball court... :laugh:

To me, it looks like he actually hit him (or was at least aiming for him). It looks more like a line drive swing, where as if he were just slamming the floor, it would be more of an "over the top" and straight down motion.

A few refugees of that mod arsehole are already on ACCbbs.

It is kind of fun to have a guy like Hodge in the league because he really spices up the game. He is unstoppable when it comes to ballin', and he always has something intriguing to say to the media.

And if Hodge wanted to hit him, he'd have hit him. I haven't seen the replay myself, but from the clips that were posted, I have to agree with the interpretation that perhaps he started to throw a punch and then held up.

What it does show, I'm afraid, is that Hodge is still overly susceptible to being "baited" and responding physically, like Blake did to him last year.
