Well in his past 4 games he has averaged about 14 ppg, 7.5 apg and 4 spg.... I'd say K was right on.

29% from 3 actually equates 43.5% from inside the arc... which is actually a fairly good percentage.

The bottom line is that players like Jarret Jack, Chris Paul, and Raymond Felton all rank as better ACC point guards than Chris Duhon in my book.

but you're forgetting that Duhon doesn't have to be great. he just has to be able to distribute the ball, because he's got weapons like Reddick and Deng.

The point is Duhon shoots a pitiful 29% from beyond the arc, if you cant hit 30% maybe you should stop firing. Duhon needs to get a clue.

He may be 8/27 on the season, but if a guy is hot, you don't have him stop shooting just because of a low percentage. You can't just look at season stats. Break it down:
Yes, Chris had a horrible first 8 games:
Vs. Detroit 1-3
Vs. Pacific 1-1
Vs. Liberty 1-3
Vs. Purdue 0-1
Vs. MSU 0-2
Vs. St. John 0-1
Vs Portland 0-2
Vs. Princeton 0-2
----------------------
Total 3-15 or 20%
Since then, and over the last 4 games:
Vs. Texas 1/1
Vs Davidson 2/3
Vs Clemson 0/2 (the exception)
Vs. Fairfield 2/5
-----------------
Total 5/11 or 45%.
With these numbers in mind, I think a smart coach would have the hot man shooting, just like a smart coach sticks with the hot goalie in hockey.
Your just talking trash about Duhon cause he's a Duke player and your just simply hateful. Plain and simple.

Amen Thomas.
It's as simple as this. Coach K told Chris to shoot more, and he did... His percentages have gone up. That's all there is to it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but 5 three-pointers over a four game stretch isn't a hot hand

5/11 is scorching... seriously. That's similar to shooting 68% from inside the arc.

5/11 over a four game span. You can't tell me that averaging just over one 3pter per game in the past four is hot.

For Duhon, who last year shot 26%, that is hot.
