Lieberman is the most ambitious of all the democrats. Lieberman is the most centrist of them as well (quite a distance from libertarian values). Lieberman follows what Christians would call a "heathen" religion. Lieberman is a man on a mission for power! Lieberman cannot be distinguished from many centrist Republicans in the House or Senate. Lieberman has changed his positions many times, what GHW Bush would call "waffling."
Lieberman is the worst democratic candidate among the field of hopefuls. He is unadmirable and an all around disgusting politician. His voice even tells you he's lying 99.9% of the time!

My God, this gets dumber by the day. We KNEW where the WMD's were, remember? We also KNEW that they could be deployed with 45 minutes, remember? They were a nuclear threat, remember? Unbelievable how much self-deception is practiced to keep the "go team, go" banner waving.

I wish I had time right now to go through your post point by point. You make your arguments, for the most part in a cogent and intelligent way that I find quite refreshing. I will endeavor to follow this up later.
For now, let me just comment on this statement:
Quote:Fact is y'all GOPpers, had a Democratic president waged war in this manner, you'd be calling for his head!
President Clinton did. Despite failing to get a UN Resolution passed authorizing the use of force in Kosovo, President Clinton dispatched our armed forces to the region under the direction of one Gen. Wesley Clark.
However, your point is well taken in one regard. There were some Republicans who were highly critical of this operation, although not for going around the UN, but that whole "vital national interests" question.

I know, and I was one of the Repugnicans screaming bloody freakin' murder!
Fact is, many people were. There were protests all over the nation when Clinton did that, the press, however did not cover any of them. Well the alternative press did and they are just a step above the friggen tabloids.
I don't think the Clinton administration used the vital interests argument. I think they used primarily a humanitarian argument for that war. Had Busch used such an argument to justify the current war, then I would have agreed. In fact, the durn near convinced me a year ago this month when generals were all over TV telling us their intelligence sources are reporting that the majority of the Iraq army will surender. These generals said there would not be much of a fight and the Iraqis were wanting us to come in. They even said Iraqi generals controlling whole corps and divisions would surrender and cooperate. When I heard this, I thought maybe this war is the thing to do, but the generals' claims were all lies and deception tactics.
For that, the Busch administration needs to head for the mountains!
